Claude Cowork MCP Connector — Workflow Intelligence | Cromus
Cromus ships an MCP connector for Anthropic's Claude Cowork. The connector exposes Cromus's six deterministic Workflow Intelligence tools — score_skill, simulate_cost, validate_skill, validate_ethos, validate_memory, reality_check_summary — directly inside any Cowork session, without leaving the runtime your team already uses.
Cromus runs as a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://mcp.cromus.ai/mcp. There is no local install. Cowork users add a custom connector pointing at that URL with a Bearer token generated at https://cromus.ai/app/settings/api-keys, and Claude Code users add it with one claude mcp add command. The same endpoint and API keys power Claude Desktop and OpenAI Codex CLI connectors as well.
Cromus is the pre-execution governance layer — upstream of any agent runtime, including Cowork. Every tool in the connector is deterministic and zero-LLM, so each result is reproducible and embeds attribution metadata for audit. The connector is independent of Anthropic and intentionally complements Cowork's runtime governance with Cromus's pre-execution scoring, validation, and cost simulation.
